Using Learning Design Studio to Support Course Design in STEM and Humanities Subjects for K-12 and Adult Education

In this workshop, six groups of master level students will present the blended mini-courses they have design for STEM and humanities subjects in K-12 and adult education using Learning Design Studio (LDS) and Moodle, including prospective learning analytics relevant to their course designs. The workshop will start with each group presenting their mini course designs, and illustrating their design thinking through the Learning Design-Learning Analytics-Visualization(s) patterns they have developed through the design process. Then the presenters will share their experience with the audience on how the patterns they have developed can be used by themselves and others in future course design work.
